MENTOR ran a highly successful corporate mentorship program for employees of a prominent UAE bank, annually and for 3 consecutive years. The program created a platform for the transfer of knowledge, skills and experience from long-time experienced employees over to new hires. It was run in streams with different batches of employees scheduled to participate in the program throughout the year.


The mentoring program provided a formal and systematic approach to on-boarding and personal development. It was developed to reduce turnover of new recruits and has helped to improve mentee productivity and performance while also enabling them to build strong relationships with their mentors. A significant factor in the success of the program was its use of a software application developed by MENTOR – called TechTrack – that facilitates online communication between mentors and mentees, as well as supervision of the program and tracking of its progress. The web / mobile-based app added a structured and interactive element to the program, enabling the scheduling of meetings, goal setting and evaluation, and ongoing communication in a manner much easier than following a manual process.
