Program Management Office (PMO) is a function within an organization that regulates processes and standards relating to project management, and shares relevant resources, methodologies, tools and techniques.

The PMO’s goals are to reduce costs, ensure consistency and increase the success rate of the various projects within an organization. It works to facilitate project completion on time and budget, with effective accomplishment of objectives and correct alignment to business strategy.
