MENTOR successfully launched and managed an eight-month pilot mentoring program for an independent agency of the government of Abu Dhabi, UAE. The main objective of the program was to contribute to the development of UAE National entrepreneurial capacities and promote the development of small & medium enterprises across the UAE.
MENTOR's team established the framework and guidelines to set up a program that would build leadership and entrepreneurial abilities of 10 Emirati candidates. The aim was to help them launch operations, achieve profitability and performance optimization, and expand their ventures.
Through strategic matching of mentees with seasoned professionals and experienced entrepreneurs, the young business owners were able to engage in a series of focused and structured sessions, receiving guidance on specific goals and feedback on their progress. The program led to tangible change in personality and thinking, and to the successful launch of business ideas for a number of participants.
MENTOR also incorporated its proprietary online mentoring and coaching application to streamline the communication process between mentors and mentees, keep up momentum of the program over its duration, and enable monitoring of the progress and success of each relationship by administrators.
